Maio Aerodrome is located on the island of the same name and was inaugurated in 2005. The runway is 1,200m long and 30m wide. As an aerodrome, it has the capacity to receive two ATR72 per operation.
In 2018, this aerodrome registered the passage of 13,846 passengers, mostly tourists who came to discover the immense beaches of golden sand and various shades of blue, favourable to lovers of water sports.
